When a Bell Wire Lead (Pig Tail) With Shunt is installed with a vessel anode adapter and the corresponding insulating kit, the wire lead (pig tail) with shunt will complete the metallic path required to complete the cathodic protection circuit.

In addition, Bell Wire Lead (Pig Tail) With Shunt allows you to monitor an anode and its effectiveness in between turn-around cycles of a vessel. Built with a 0.01 Ohm wire shunt, the wire lead with shunt can measure voltage difference between the two sides of the shunt while also allowing usage of a clamp on ammeter.

3' of #12 AWG solid lead coiled wire is included to allow you to connect on many different types of tank/vessels.
