When terminating wires on pipes ranging between 1/2" and 1" in diameter the 1" Cathode Clamp ground clamp is an inexpensive option that is easy to install. Made from Zinc galvanize steel, the ground clamp can be applied onto steel or galvanized steel items. The threaded wire terminal on the clamp is capable of terminating wire as large as #2 AWG stranded or wire as small as #10 AWG solid. This clamp can also be used for connecting a grounding conductor on galvanized steel rod.

For larger pipe, the U-Bolt or Band Style Cathode Clamps are an equally inexpensive option that is easy to install. Similarly, the threaded wire terminal on the clamp is capable of terminating wire as large as #2 AWG stranded or wire as small as #10 AWG solid.
